Rickmansworth SchoolThis Language Block was completely transformed from an outdated, tired area to a rejuvenated, modern environment. It included 4 classrooms, an ICT Suite, 2 stairwells and corridor.
We stripped out the area, removing the old carpets and curtains, then concealed the old ‘straw’ ceilings and steel girders with new suspended ceilings and redecorated throughout.
We installed highly efficient LED lighting which is better for the environment and reduces ongoing maintenance and laid new carpet with a modern blocked design in the classrooms with a safety vinyl in the corridors and stairwells.
We also supplied and fitted the new blinds with magnetic crank handles to avoid the tamper possible chain controls and new doors throughout the area with vision panels and Salto locks.
We then delivered and installed all the new classroom furniture and fitted shaped IT benching. The school chose a heavy duty classroom table with durable spray PU edging and 32mm tubular welded frames and the Postura one piece polypropylene chair.
