We help construct Sixth Form spaces that stimulate creativity and success.
Through innovative and intelligent furniture choices, we aim to make the whole experience of being a Sixth Form student an enjoyable, exciting and rewarding experience during both study and recreation time.
We carefully consider what makes the best learning environment for higher education students and come up with design layouts to support the different learner styles, providing students with the tools they need to shape their future studies and careers.
Focused Areas:
This is a quiet area for in-depth research, concentrating the mind on the assignment.
In this area it would be typical to find furniture with high acoustic properties for noise reduction. Desk pods can be used to create quiet, distraction-free spaces for individual study. In a focused learning area, individual work spaces with screens and IT resource provides an ideal space for students to research, plan and write up in peace. We recommend including some storage in this area, such as library shelving for neat and effective storage of resources,it's important to keep this area clutter-free for ease of in-depth studying. Here is the place to have a few individual comfy seats for students who like to read in peace and quiet. With our extensive range of relaxed seating, its easy to achieve the style you are looking to create.
Collaborative Areas:
This is an open networking area for group discussions, exchanging ideas and creative brainstorming, allowing students to develop a diverse set of academic as well as non-academic skills.
Achieve comfort and flexibility by configuring stylish layouts of your choice with our modular soft seating. Modular soft seating can be easily configured to suit any activity.
With a huge choice of fabrics, modular soft seating gives you the opportunity to add a cool pattern or an inspirational splash of colour to your Sixth Form area, compliment the relaxed seating with a few coffee tables. Many modular seating configurations include a matching table, alternatively you could go for a contrasting coffee table to create a sophisticated look.
4-6 person soft seating booths are ideal for collaborative learning environments. They allow students to work creatively in small groups whilst minimising distraction to other parts of the study p
We highly recommend the use of media stations within collaborative learning areas. This gives students access to shared IT and presentation resources whilst working in groups. We are able to create bespoke shaped media stations to best-suit your space and style requirements.
Within Sixth Form collaborative areas its ideal to include group tables that seat around 4-8 students. Our table range offers a large variety of different shapes, sizes, heights and finishes. If you're after something a little more unique, why not go bespoke? Bespoke shape tables maximise design aesthetics whilst optimising efficiency.
Dynamic Areas:
This is a flexible area that can be reconfigured quickly for multiple use and learning needs. This area is ideal for quick teacher and student sessions or for students to work in pairs.
Tilt top tables are the perfect solution for this multi-use area. With their intelligent mechanism, tilt-top tables are an extremely efficient table option. They are easy and neat to store and can be quickly and simply set up or moved around to create the best configuration for the activity. Alternatively, we offer a wide range of classroom tables and chairs for a more permanent layout.
We can offer many different styles of high-stacking chairs for effective use of space.
The dynamic area should allow for student and teacher presentation. Whiteboards, smartboards, projection areas or big screens are useful presentation tools.
Thinking about the files, textbooks, stationery and any other resources students are likely to need with them in this area, it is sensible to include storage such as lockers, cupboards or shelves. you can create an exciting design feature with storage, such as locker configurations with brightly coloured doors, helping to create an attractive studying environment.
Breakout Areas:
Within Sixth Form study spaces, it is important to create breakout areas where students can relax. Sixth Form is a great time to find like-minded friends and breakout areas allow for essential social interaction. Sixth Form should be enjoyed, so by including breakout areas, students are more likely to be motivated to do extra study.
Soft seating, coffee tables, high tables stools, booths, dining tables chairs, bookcases, canteen areas ... when it comes to breakout areas, there are limitless furniture options for creating comfortable and stimulating spaces where students can go and re-charge.
